Superbowl Snacks
Let’s be clear: I love the Superbowl. I am only half-aware of the actual football part of things, but I still love Superbowl. Specifically, Superbowl snacks and commercials. Yes, I’m that girl. I’m thinking about what to bring to a Superbowl party next week. I really want to make Buffalo Shrimp, which I had at a Superbowl party a few years ago, but I don’t have a recipe. I think I could wing it, but I’ve been searching Pinterest and the web at large for a recipe. (If you have one, I’m all ears!) The recipe I had before was basically just butter, Franks Red Hot sauce, and shrimp. They were not fried shrimp, though. Most of the recipes I’m finding online include frying the shrimp.
Anyway, here are some great ideas for Superbowl snacks!

Not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but a couple weeks ago I made my usual buffalo sauce from allrecipes (butter, Franks, garlic powder, vinegar, worcestershire, cayenne, salt) and brushed it onto skewered shrimp, and grilled it. I was amazed how much flavor the shrimp picked up just from a single basting. Although I guess grilling isn’t really an option for you right now, is it?
Nope, the grill is buried under snow. But I can put that combination of sauce into the crockpot and just add the shrimp. What kind of vinegar/how much, and how much worcestershire? Thanks! Sounds just about perfect!
