Taco Bowls
My mom got my sisters and I this cool tortilla pan set for Christmas. Now, you could use any oven-proof bowl to make taco bowls (just drape a tortilla over it and bake. It crisps up in the shape of the bowl.). That’s not nearly as cool as these fluted edge bowls, and might even take longer since these are special material. Or something. Whatever – they’re cool and we made tasty taco bowls!
Just put a tortilla in one of the pans, bake it for 7-10 minutes, and then cool the tortilla bowl for a few minutes before you fill it.
We had lots of leftovers from making taco pizza: refried beans, taco meat, plus some chili from a few days ago. We heated all that up in the microwave and added shredded cheddar, torn spinach leaves, and a dollop of plain Greek yogurt for “sour cream.”
Mix it all up (or not, but that’s what I do!) and dig in!
*I ended up having to re-fill my bowl. I should have filled it up a little more the first time. I ended up with lots of shell and not enough filling. Next time I’m piling it up the first time!

I saw this in the store I was thinking of buying it. Does it work?
They work great! You could definitely mold a tortilla around any oven-proof dish, though. These just make them prettier.
